Common questions

Short answers to the questions we hear most. Ask us about your own document any time.

What is the difference between a Dubai Courts notary and a private notary?

Both are recognised ways to notarise documents in Dubai. Private notaries are licensed by Dubai Courts and often offer more flexible appointments, while the Dubai Courts notary public is the government route. We explain which option suits your document and its purpose.

Can my document be notarised online?

Many documents can be notarised remotely through the UAE Ministry of Justice online notary service, which uses a video session. Eligibility depends on the document type, so we check this first, prepare the document and guide you through each step.

What do I need to bring?

Usually your original passport and/or Emirates ID. Company documents may also need items such as the trade licence and Memorandum of Association. We confirm the exact list before your appointment so nothing is missed.

Does my document need to be in Arabic?

Many documents notarised in the UAE need to be in Arabic or in a bilingual Arabic/English format. We let you know if a legal translation is required and help you arrange it.

How long does it take?

It depends on the document and the authority involved. Once we have reviewed your request, we give you a realistic timeline rather than a generic promise.

How do I get started?

Send us a WhatsApp message or call +971 566 888 418 and tell us what you need. You can share a draft or photos of your supporting documents so we can advise you quickly.

Need a document notarised or drafted?

Message us with the details and we'll tell you exactly what's required.
